    4. Free distribution of stamps to schools having Philatelic Clubs

    Coinciding with the World Post Day on 9th October 2011,the dedicated Stamps were launched by the Venerable Dorji Lopen of the Zhung Dratshang in a formal ceremony held at the Bhutan Post Building,Thimphu.

  2. New Stamps Release
    We are pleased to announce that Bhutan Post in collaboration with Indian Embassy in Bhutan has released stamps on "First Visit to Bhutan by an Indian Prime Minister in September 1958" to mark the Independence Day of India on 15th August, 2011. Click here to view

  3. Toll Free Number Installed in Thimphu GPO
    For general inforamtion Bhutan Post has a new Toll Free Number -129 installed in Thimphu GPO which shall be available from 9AM-5PM during week days (Monday-Friday) except on government holidays and 9AM-12:30PM on Saturday. Following extension may be dialed to reach the relevent section:
    1. 2025 for Customer Care
    2. 2019 for Chief Post Master
    3. 2034/2033/2024 for EMS/Parcel/FedEx
    4. 2020 for Western Union Money Transfer

    Bhutan Postal Corporation Ltd has launched Electronic Money Order (eMO)service between Bhutan and India coinciding with "The World Post Day " on 9th October, 2010 at Thimphu General Post Office. It is the smartest and prompt money transfer service to India
